December 31, 2007 Happy New Year!!!
Well here we are new years, 2008 is one day away. A lot has changed in the past year. Hayely and I did get married on November 11, 2007. It was a beautiful wedding and thanks for all who have supported us in this journey, we love you all. Sam and I recently finished a very large trim job on a house. It was a big home, 6,000 sq.ft. in the suburb of Johnston, IA. I'll post pictures when it is completely finished. Another job that I finished just recently was a dining set including 4 chairs, a bench seat, and a table. This was built for Jon and Kara Blanchard of Johnston, IA. This furniture was built from maple wood and in the design that Jon, Kara, and I planned out together. The project was a major success and I look forward to more work of this sort.  This shows the mortise and tenon joinery that was used to construct the chairs and table. 
This shows the unfinished chair just after the glue-up stage, still needs the upholstery and stain. 
Here is the finished product complete with granite top and upholstery. Jon Blanchard said of his new home furniture, "It's not often that a project exceeds our expectations, but this one definitley has."
