George Residence

Below is a list of images from the George residence in Altoona, IA.

I was asked to help out on this project by Mike Owens and his Halifax Artisan's Guild.  I would like to extend a courteous "Thank You" to Mike for hiring me to help finish some of these beautiful projects.

Mike is a fine artist and woodworker as well.  This is just one of the projects that I have helped him with in the past.  It is a standard for Mike to design the entire look inside of the home (as far as trim goes) and then he just hands us drawings and we build the stuff. We will continue to help each other in the future as both of our companies grow.

On this particular house Mike had to focus his time on the big window treatment you see in the background of the second picture.  While I worked on setting the cabinets for the two kitchens, I also finished the stair and rail sytem.  The rest of the team finished the other doors and windows and base.

The final result was a beautiful collaboration.
