New Furniture
Here is a selection of some of the newest furniture I have built.
Habitat for Humanity Table
This piece was given to Habitat for Humanity to be on display in their booth at the 2007 Home and Garden Show at Veteran's Memorial Auditorium in Des Moines, IA.
It was created by cutting the top and bottom ends off a door I got from Habitat and then using those cut-offs for the legs of the coffee table.
I enjoy volunteering my time to Habitat and other organizations of this sort who are doing a great job of changing the world around us.
This photo was taken while still carving the lettering.
And the final look of the top, floral decoration was made by magazine cutouts. That were glued down and then covered with the polyurethane finish.
