Performance Art
Below are images of my senior project called "Friday" that I made while studying at the University of Iowa. This project satisfied grades in 3 different classes if I remember correctly, it was a project for my drawing, sculpture, and multimedia classes. I was hoisted up atop these 8 pieces of steel re-bar with the aid of a couple of ladders and a couple of friends. It was quite a feeling to stay up there swaying in the wind under this very minimal support. It was very close to collapse a few different times during the performance, but I made it through without falling and everyone who was there thought it was a very nice performance. This is pretty much all the documentation of the performance I called "Friday". Please contact me if you have any questions about this work.
