Here is the only stone piece that I have ever had the opportunity to carve.  It is a nude femal figure carved from alabaster stone that stands 30" tall x 12" wide x 12" deep.  I made this piece while studying at the University of Iowa in the sculpture department.  I had no experience with stone prior to this piece and am real happy with the way this stone worked out.  There were a lot of new concepts and techniques to learn, but I feel the piece was a huge success.  I would like to work more with stone but haven't been able to.  This piece is not for sale.  Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this piece.
